This Privacy Policy describes how applications, utilities, complications, and watch faces developed by SimpleWF (collectively referred to as the "Apps") operate regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information.

At SimpleWF, our founding principle is absolute user privacy. All of our Apps are built to function as direct on-device utilities. We do not collect, store, track, or transmit your personal data or fitness information across any of our products.
1. Direct Framework: No Data Collection
Because privacy is baked directly into our design process, we enforce strict data limitations across all of our Apps:
- No Personal Information: We never request or collect your name, email address, phone number, physical location, or unique device identifiers (such as IMEI or Android ID).
- No Information Tracking: We do not track, log, or profile what you view, read, click, or interact with inside any of our applications.
- No Third-Party Analytics: Our Apps do not embed third-party tracking software, advertising SDKs, or background analytics code used to monitor user behavior.
- No Accounts Required: Our products function immediately without requiring account creation, profiles, or login credentials.
2. On-Device Features & Device Permissions
To deliver core functionalities, our Apps may request specific device permissions. Any data accessed via these permissions is handled strictly on-device, processed in real-time, and handled ephemerally.
A. Health, Fitness, & Sensor Permissions
To provide the metrics you see on your device, the app accesses heart rate, step counts, calories burned, distance, floor counts, and active time data via the platform's native sensor APIs.
- Permissions Used: The Apps utilize the
android.permission.BODY_SENSORS permission to read vital signs (like Heart Rate) and the android.permission.ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION permission to read physical movement statistics (like Steps, Calories, Distance, Floors, and Walk Time).
- Local Processing Only: This fitness data is accessed solely to generate real-time metrics and text strings directly on your wearable screen or complication interface.
- Zero Cloud Exposure or Storage: We do not collect, transmit, share, or store any of this fitness data on external servers. It stays entirely on your local hardware.
- Limited Use Enforcement: We strictly comply with Google Play’s user data regulations. We never use health or fitness information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any secondary purposes.
B. Network & Internet Permissions
For applications that require dynamic data from the web (such as content retrieval, feed aggregation, or data updates):
- Direct Retrieval: The App connects directly from your hardware to the public or user-specified URLs. No user data, transmission logs, or connection histories pass through or are logged by intermediary servers owned or operated by SimpleWF.
- Ephemeral Processing: Data fetched over the internet is processed entirely in the device’s volatile memory (RAM) and is not persisted to disk or external storage.
C. Storage & File Access Permissions
For applications that feature data management tools (such as configuration files, importing, or backup/restore features):
- Strictly Local Storage: Any settings directories or backup files generated are saved exclusively to your local device directory.
- No Cloud Uploads: SimpleWF has no access to these directories, and our software does not sync files to cloud servers without your explicit, manual intervention.
D. Location Permissions
To provide high-precision features, such as True North calibration, real-time Latitude/Longitude coordinates, and Elevation accuracy, our apps may request access to your device's location.
- Local Processing: This location data is accessed exclusively on-device to perform the necessary mathematical calculations for compass orientation and altitude calibration.
- No Data Storage or Sharing: We do not collect, transmit, store, or share your GPS coordinates or location history with any third parties or external servers. All location data is processed ephemerally and is never cached remotely.
3. Mandatory Health Disclaimer
Important Notice: Our Apps and complications are intended purely for informational, general wellness, and entertainment purposes. SimpleWF applications are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or physical tracking data.
4. Data Sharing, Retention, and Deletion
- No Data Sharing: Since SimpleWF does not gather, scrape, or log user details, it is structurally impossible for us to share, sell, or lease your information to third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers.
- No Data Retention: We do not maintain remote cloud databases. Your layout selections and local data remain on your device for as long as the software is installed.
- Data Deletion: Because our apps function entirely locally, you can erase all settings, cached health metrics, or configurations by simply clearing the application cache in your device settings or uninstalling the App. There is no remote personal profile data to request deletion for.
5. Children's Privacy
Our Apps are general-purpose utilities and are not targeted at or designed for children under the age of 13. Because we hold a strict zero-collection data standard for all users, we do not knowingly or technically process any information relating to children.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy periodically to remain fully compliant with evolving global regulations and app store developer policies. Any updates will be published immediately on this page and will go into effect upon posting.
